Sample 5-day itinerary
Illustrative five-day route: Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara. This is a planning example within the customizable 5–12-day journey, not a confirmed departure. Adjust the order around arrival flights, train availability and preferred light.
Day 1 — Tashkent arrival and first city photographs
Allow time to rest after arrival, then discuss a short city walk or bazaar visit. Agree permission before photographing people, and follow local rules for interiors, stations and religious sites. Overnight in Tashkent.
Day 2 — Travel to Samarkand
Use a confirmed rail or road connection, check in and leave the later part of the day for the Registan area. The guide can help with location access and local context; photographic tuition is not included unless specifically agreed. Overnight in Samarkand.
Day 3 — Samarkand architecture and crafts
Plan a morning around Shah-i-Zinda and another architecture or craft location, with a midday break. Choose exterior viewpoints and interior visits according to opening hours, permissions and the light. Overnight in Samarkand.
Day 4 — Continue to Bukhara
Transfer on the confirmed service. Explore the old-town streets and trading-domes area at a relaxed pace, then discuss an evening viewpoint around the Kalyan ensemble. Overnight in Bukhara.
Day 5 — Bukhara details and onward travel
Leave the morning for street details, architecture or a prearranged craft visit. Finish in Bukhara or add a separate transfer day if the departure flight is elsewhere. Do not assume a same-day connection without checking timings.
Extending to 7–12 days

What to confirm
Request accommodation names and room category, guide versus photography-instructor duties, equipment and luggage space, walking pace, entrances and any photography permissions. Sunrise and sunset access, weather and specific shots cannot be guaranteed. Drone permissions and use are not included in this example.
