Walking, riding and road transfers

The three-day Nuratau example includes approximately 11 km on Day 2 and 12 km on Day 3, about 23 km in total. Other private routes can be planned for a gentler or more active pace. Daily distance, elevation, surface and suitability are confirmed for your chosen itinerary.

Example: Days 1–3
This is a real route example from our published Hayat, Ukhum & Asraf Village Trek. Use it as a starting point for your private 3–7-day hiking plan; the final route and services depend on your dates and walking experience.
Day 1 — Bukhara to Hayat
Travel by road from Bukhara to Hayat, settle into a village guesthouse and take an introductory village walk. The program includes a conservation-area visit, where wildlife sightings are not guaranteed. Planned overnight: Hayat.
Day 2 — Hayat to Ukhum
Walk approximately 11 km with a local guide, following river paths past petroglyphs and historic irrigation channels. Arrive in Ukhum for village hospitality and time to rest. Planned overnight: Ukhum.
Day 3 — Ukhum to Asraf
Trek approximately 12 km, stated as about 3–4 hours, with mountain views toward Lake Aydar and heritage sites along the way. The published route finishes in Asraf after the afternoon program. Arrange any onward transfer or extra overnight in advance.

This example includes approximately 23 km across two consecutive hiking days. Share your walking experience, preferred daily distance and any mobility needs.
