Guided Trekking & Village Stays

About this trek

Leave Bukhara for the quieter landscapes of the Nuratau Mountains, where Hayat, Ukhum and Asraf preserve a rhythm of life shaped by rivers, orchards, mountain paths and family traditions.

After an introductory afternoon in Hayat, complete two guided trekking stages: approximately 11 km from Hayat to Ukhum and 12 km from Ukhum to Asraf. Along the way, discover ancient petroglyphs, historic irrigation channels, a traditional water-mill site and fortress remains associated locally with the Mongol period. Village guesthouses, home-style food and views toward Lake Aydar bring a more personal dimension to the journey.
