Sample 4-day itinerary
Illustrative four-day Uzbekistan route. This example combines Tashkent with the Chimgan Mountains and Charvak Reservoir. It uses the places in our published Chimgan–Charvak day trip while allowing a separately confirmed mountain-area stay. It does not promise an alpine trek, a lakefront hotel or an included resort activity.
Day 1 — Arrive in Tashkent
Allow time for the airport transfer, hotel check-in and rest. If arrival timing permits, add a short city outing. Overnight in Tashkent.
Day 2 — Travel to the Chimgan area
Travel by road into the mountain region, approximately 120 km from Tashkent in the published day-trip outline. Discuss Beldersay and Chimgan viewpoints and the stops accessible on your date. A cable car or Amirsoy visit is optional and needs separate availability and fee confirmation. Overnight at an agreed mountain-area property, or adapt the plan to return to Tashkent if suitable accommodation is unavailable.
Day 3 — Charvak viewpoints and outdoor time
Choose a relaxed scenic drive and reservoir viewpoints, with a short walk if conditions and the group’s fitness allow. Agree the trail distance, elevation, surface and guide before a hiking activity. Allow time for lunch and photography, then return to Tashkent for the night. Water activities are not included unless expressly confirmed.
Day 4 — Tashkent and departure
Use the remaining time for a city visit or a relaxed departure. Confirm airport or station timing and leave a suitable buffer for the transfer.
Extending to 5–7 days
Add time in Tashkent or discuss extra mountain nights and verified walking routes. A Seven Lakes trip in Tajikistan is a different, cross-border journey from Samarkand; it requires extra routing and entry checks rather than being silently added to this four-day example.
Practical checks
Ask for accommodation names, road-transfer time, walking difficulty, guide language, meals, entrances and optional-activity costs.
