About This Tour
Move from the historic sites of Nurata into the living landscapes of the Nuratau Mountains. After visiting fortress ruins, a Suzani workshop, Chashma Mosque and the sacred spring, continue to Hayat for village life, local hospitality and the conservation enclosure.
The central experience is a guided 12 km hike of about four hours through Upper Ukhum, crossing a mountain pass and following old irrigation channels to a petroglyph site. Return to Hayat before the final transfer to Samarkand.
